What Causes UTIs During Pregnancy ?
Before explaining about uti infection while pregnancy, Let me explains what causing the uti in pregnancy first. The main cause of uti whether in pregnant or not is sexual intercourse. Without realizing it, mostly, the bacteria from the colon and vagina can get into the urethra especially during foreplay. Other common cause is holding urine habits. This habits makes the uti germs or bacteria stay longer in urinary system which makes them to multiply easily due to the perfect environment.

Common Symptoms Of UTI During Pregnancy
Please be note that some pregnant woman do not showed any symptoms at all. However most of them experience the following symptoms:

1. Urgent to urinate
2. Feel burn and pain during urinating
3. Strong smell or strange smell and cloudy urine looking.
3. Reddish in colour of urine or bloody urine
4. Feel Pain in the pubic bone area
5. The number or urinating frequency is increase than usual
6. Mucus in the urine
7. Cramps or pain in the lower abdomen
8. Pain during sexual intercourse
9. Experience in Chills, fever, sweats, leaking of urine (incontinence)
10.Frequent waking up at night to urinating.
11.Changing in amount of urine, more or less
12.Feel rally pain, pressure, or tenderness in the bladder area
13.If the bacteria goes up to the kidney the victim may experience: back pain, chills, fever, nausea, and vomiting.

Well, uti or urinary tract infection are too easy to heal, even for pregnant women. That's why most people do not too much worry of being infected with this kind of infection. However, we should aware, being late on getting treatment for uti will is a bad idea. When the uti bacteria reach on your kidney then you are in serious condition. For pregnant women, antibiotics is the best medicine in order to heal uti. Please see your medical doctor to get the right and the best antibiotics because some antibiotics are not compatible with pregnant women.
