Most people do not care about what is bladder infection, what are the main symptoms of uti or anything about bladder infection until they experience it. Urinary Tract Infection or bladder infection has been attack million of people all around the world and mostly found in women. What causes bladder infections actually ? Today, i would like to explain about what are the main causes of bladder infection for our refrences.

Germs
The most possible of bladder infections causes is germs or bacteria. Normally the bacteria enter through the urethra and goes up into the bladder. Our body system able to remove the bacteria inside the bladder by empty out it during urination. But, in certain cases, the bacteria may attach or stick on the bladder and multiply rapidly. Finally, it causing bladder infection. E. Coli (Escherichia Coli) known as the bacteria that causing majority of bladder infections. This bacteria also the main causes of cystitis. Other bacteria like Staph and gut bacteria such as Proteus, Klebsiella and Enterococcus can lead to cystitis and other form of urinary infections.

Fungus Infection
Fungus may lead to bladder infection. However, the bladder infection that caused by fungus is very rare. Candida is the most commin fungus that causing bladder infections. Usually this types of infection mostly found in patients with untreated kidney stones with recurrent infection or individuals which having compromised immune system.

Sexual Active Causing Bladder Infections
People especially women can easily get bladder infection after having sexual intercourse with their partner especially for them who practice sexually active. Vaginal intercourse are the main causes that lead to bladder infection because the bacteria easily move to the bladder through the urethra. Each partner are encourage to take care their hygiene and practice urinating after sexual activity.Chlamydia and mycoplasma are the two types of sexually transmitted bacteria that cause bladder infection or urinary tract infections

Bacteria From Anus
It is clear that most cases of bladder infection are causes by bacteria. Where the bacteria come from? Without realizing how we get this infection, actually it's depend on our hygiene daily practise. Does you wipe your anus in the right way after 'poo' ? Did you wipe your anus more than once using same toilet paper ? If toilet paper touches your anus and then your genitals when you go to the loo, then you are in the high probability of being infected by bladder infection. The bacteria from the anus may transfer to the genital area and move to bladder and finally causing this infection.

Others Possible Causes
Other causes of Bladder Infections or UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) are:

1. Inserting a Tampon
2. using a diaphragm for contraception
3. chemical irritants – such as in perfumed soap or talcum powder
4. Other bladder or kidney problems, such as a kidney infection or prostatitis
5. Diabetes (Having Diabetes)
6. Damage caused by a catheter (a tube inserted into the urethra to allow urine to flow into a drainage bag, which is often used after surgery)
